The Financial Analyst is crucial in analysing financial data to support the company's strategic decision-making process. This role involves gathering, interpreting, and evaluating financial information to provide actionable insights that drive business performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively.

Financial Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain accurate general ledger accounts and ensure timely submission of statutory returns (IT Returns).
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify deviations from budgeted amounts and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Assist in audit preparation by gathering relevant documents and providing support during internal/external audits.

Financial Analyst Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or CFA preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial regulations.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
