- Before proceeding, the employer must confirm that the candidate has been informed about the verification request.
- OptyMatch sends a consent request to the candidate via email.
- The candidate reviews the request and provides authorisation through a secure consent link.
- Background verification begins only after the candidate's consent is received.
- If the candidate does not provide consent, the verification process cannot proceed.
This ensures that all verifications are conducted transparently and with the candidate's knowledge and approval.
