Yes. Candidate consent is mandatory before any Background Verification (BGV) can be initiated on Optymatch.

As part of the process, employers must confirm that the candidate has been informed about the verification request. Optymatch then sends a consent email to the candidate. Verification begins only after the candidate clicks the authorization link and provides explicit consent, ensuring compliance with the DPDP Act and privacy best practices.
